Sanford Animal Hospital is Hiring an Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician!

Position Details

• Status: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate)
• Schedule: 4-day work week 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No weekends!

What Veterinary Technicians/Assistants Do

• Aid veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Safely and compassionately restrain patients
• Prepare examination rooms and support patient flow throughout the day
• Collect laboratory samples, perform in-house laboratory testing, and assist with diagnostics
• Obtain and process radiographs
• Maintain accurate patient records within EzyVet
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Support exceptional patient care from admission through discharge

What Veterinary Technicians/Assistants Bring

• Minimum of one year of Veterinary Assistant experience required
• RVT credentials preferred but not required
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and client service
• Desire to continue learning and growing within the profession
