Experienced veterinary surgeon opportunity, Westover Vets, Norfolk

About the role

Westover Vets is a proudly independent practice serving the North Norfolk community for over a century. We operate across three sites, including a central hospital, and aim to be the best primary care practice possible. With nearly thirty vets—over half holding certificates or higher qualifications—and our own out-of-hours service, we deliver excellent care while keeping a wide range of work in-house. We offer CT and laparoscopy alongside a supportive team environment that encourages vets to specialise in areas such as medicine, surgery, imaging, dentistry, emergency work, or consulting.

We are seeking an experienced vet to join our team. You should be confident with routine consulting and surgery, enjoy collaborative work, and bring curiosity and enthusiasm for ongoing development. Exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.

Schedule

The role is based on a four-day week averaging around 32 hours, with infrequent participation in our in-house out-of-hours rota. OOH shifts are worked in blocks of three or four nights, shared across the veterinary team, and are well supported to ensure continuity of care for our patients.
