Experienced Travel Agent

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree or graduate of an accredited travel school is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a retail/leisure travel agent (or other comparable travel experience) required
• Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation required within 2 years of job acceptance
• Existing book of business strongly preferred

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

• Ability to respond to customer inquiries and interact with individuals
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient using the Internet, AAA Intranet, Travel booking sites, and other applicable legacy and web-based PC applications used to process work and service client requests
• Able to complete all AAA Travel Agent training via AAA-University and class attendance is required
• Working knowledge of geography and the ability to use manual (paper) or PC based maps

What We Offer

• Base Salary: Starting base compensation for this position is $15.54 to $20.00/hourly
• Monthly Incentives: Eligible to earn incentive pay with an average payout of $550 - $1,500 per month, after approximately 6 months of employment
