Responsibilities
- Precision TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, and cobalt alloys, between 0.020" and 0.064" thick
- Fit, assemble, and weld complex components using fixtures, tools, and weld positioners
- Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols
- Visually inspect all weldments; identify potential indications; and repair and report defects per our advanced quality system requirements
- Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience
- Demonstrated ability to weld on welding qualification materials during interview process
- Solid understanding of weld symbols and fabrication fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset
