Entry Level Tig Welder

About the role

This is a full-time entry-level position with a local metal-fabrication facility serving the energy and oil sector. It is ideal for welders beginning their careers.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding on various types of material
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane (training provided)
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Setting up your own machine
• Using power tools and other equipment

Requirements

• One year of proven experience in welding or completion of a trade-school program/certifications
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Pay

$18–$19 per hour, based on experience and weld-test performance.

Schedule

• First shift: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours per day
• Some Saturdays required
