Service Technician Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform skilled mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
  • Efficient Workflow: Utilize your expertise to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs, providing high-quality service to our valued customers.
  • Diagnostics Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues, ensuring accurate and effective repairs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, service procedures, and industry advancements, enhancing your skills and expertise.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience at an automotive dealership
  • Strong understanding of the service drive
  • Years of experience vary per position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Able to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
