Experienced Tax Associate - Alternative Investment Funds
About the role
Experienced Associates with our Alternative Investment Funds practice work with multiple teams to serve a variety of complex clients, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, fund of funds, hedge funds and family offices.
Responsibilities
- Engage in tax preparation, planning, research, and the consultation process for clients;
- Supervise and mentor interns;
- Receive formal tax training related to Alternative Investment Funds, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant tax experience;
- Bachelor’s and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD);
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities;
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with high-volume peak-season work;
- Strong problem-solving skills with a growth mindset;
- Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication;
- Proficient use of technology.
Pay
Salary Range: For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $86,300 to $97,900. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
