About the role
Experienced Stylist providing a full range of services: hair cutting, highlighting, layering, coloring, up-dos, facial waxing, and blow drying.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair consultations and suggest hair-care products
- Maintain and grow a loyal client base to ensure repeat business
- Proactively develop new clientele
- Attend continuing education and training to stay current with trends and techniques
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of hair styles, hair-care products, and salon procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills
- Able to stand for prolonged periods
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- 1–2 years of salon experience
Skills
- Haircutting (women, men, children)
- Consultation and cutting curly hair
- Long-hair cutting and styling
- Blow dry and straightening with hot tools
- Up-dos, extensions, and braiding
Pay
Commission-based earnings plus continuing-education opportunities.
