About the role
Johnson O’Connor is a regional Public Accounting Firm located outside of Boston in Wakefield, MA. We are seeking a Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of public accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate in career growth and work with a diverse client base
- Service all aspects of clients' business from start to finish
- Become a valued advisor to clients
- Prepare and complete corporate and individual tax returns and/or financial statements
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Learn new professional concepts and techniques
- Provide exceptional client service
Requirements
- 1-3 years of public accounting experience
- A BA/BS in accounting
- CPA completed or in progress
- Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Knowledge of ProSystem fx Tax and CCH Engagement software (preferred)
