Experienced Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is critical to advancing the company's products and technical capabilities. Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Utilizing test-driven development and design techniques to implement unit tests for assigned feature areas or software components.
- Assisting product owners with establishing clearly defined requirements and developing user stories.
- Assisting product owners with composing technical details for statements of work.
- Recognizing classes of problems and deriving applicable solutions.
- Contributing to the formation of engineering standards and software development best practices.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of programming concepts and languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar), with the ability to work from detailed specifications.
- Understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, test witnessing, and certification.
- Knowledge of DevOps culture, practices and tools.
- Knowledge of managing and maintaining third-party application installations and configurations.
- Ability to identify and resolve fundamental software or system issues.
- Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $77,000 - $100,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
