We are a leading import dealership known for our commitment to excellence in customer service and automotive expertise. We are currently seeking an Experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our service department to new heights.

Job Summary

The Experienced Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a motivated leader with a deep understanding of import vehicles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the service department team, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff, ensuring they work efficiently and collaboratively.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding service delivery, addressing customer concerns and issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement service department processes and procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of service repairs, warranties, and customer interactions, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate service department staff, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and parts departments to ensure seamless service operations and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Create and execute promotional campaigns to increase service department revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management, preferably within an import dealership.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive technology and service processes, particularly regarding import brands.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
