Experienced Recruiter – Power, Energy, & Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor to hiring managers within engineering functions.
- Build deep relationships, understand business priorities, and translate hiring needs into recruitment strategies.
- Lead full-lifecycle recruitment for senior-level engineering and technical specialists, source and interview candidates, and handle offer negotiation and onboarding hand-off.
- Proactively build and maintain robust pipelines of active and passive candidates against in-demand engineering skill sets and roles.
- Deploy advanced sourcing tactics including, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Negotiate offers and close high-caliber candidates, balancing speed, candidate experience, and internal alignment.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and requisition tracking in ATS (e.g., iCIMS), produce recruitment metrics, and continuously optimize processes for efficiency and impact.
- Partner with HR, hiring leaders, and functional leaders to shape hiring plans, drive process excellence, and enhance the candidate experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a recruiter (corporate environment preferred; recruiting at engineering / consulting / professional services firms strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated track record sourcing, assessing and closing engineering and technical talent (mid- to senior-level) in disciplines such as power, energy, infrastructure, or similar industries.
- Full-lifecycle recruitment expertise: requisition intake, sourcing strategy, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, hiring manager partnering.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder-management skills—comfortable guiding hiring decisions and closing talent in competitive markets.
- Advanced sourcing skills including, LinkedIn Recruiter, job-board optimization, pipeline development.
- Proficiency with ATS systems (experience with iCIMS preferred) and recruitment analytics.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment with changing priorities.
