Position Overview

The Center provides comprehensive care for both children and adolescent populations with psychological issues, as well as adults facing psychiatric and substance abuse challenges. Beyond its clinical offerings, Lighthouse Care Center supports patient recovery with recreational activities and an accredited on-campus school, promoting wellness through physical activity and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Supervise NPs.

Qualifications

  • M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus.
  • Licensure Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-fellowship preferred. Willing and experienced treating ages 12 and older.
