Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Environmental Testing) 2nd Shift – Millennium Space Systems

About the role
This position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, California, and operates on 2nd shift. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with an interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance required post-start.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improve production efficiency, and optimize product quality.
- Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs.
- Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce or mitigate them.
- Conducts staffing and cost analyses.
- Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
- Represents manufacturing on production-related issues.
- Establishes and maintains production schedules.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- More than 1 year of experience leading teams.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
Qualifications
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 6 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s + 4 years, or 10 years of experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data (e.g., SQL, Excel, PowerBI).
- Hands-on experience with component-level testing (Vibe, Shock, Thermal Cycling, functional testing, etc.).
Pay
Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and market considerations. Summary pay range: $96,900 – $131,100.
