About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Environmental Testing) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance post start is required. This role is for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality
• Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs
• Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate
• Conducts staffing and cost analyses
• Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
• Represents manufacturing on production related issues
• Establishes and maintains production schedules

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams
• More than 1 year of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (interim and/or final post start)

Qualifications

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Component level testing (Vibe, Shock, Thermal Cycling, functional testing, etc.)

Pay

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $96,900 - $131,100

Schedule

• 100% onsite at El Segundo, California
• 2nd shift
• May require travel up to 5% of the time
