Experienced PAUT Level II & Level III Technicians —IMMEDIATE - BOOTS ON THE GROUND OPPORTUNITY

About the role

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is seeking experienced Advanced NDT – PAUT Technicians, Level II and Level III to support a long-term contract assignment in Newport News, Virginia. These positions will support naval shipyard and heavy marine fabrication operations, performing advanced ultrasonic examinations on heavy structural components, piping systems, welds, and other critical components.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ultrasonic examinations on heavy structural components, piping systems, welds, and other critical components.
• Support naval shipyard and heavy marine fabrication operations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR/export-control regulations.
• Experience in one or more of the following environments: Naval Shipyards, Heavy Manufacturing, Defense, Marine/Shipbuilding, Heavy Fabrication, Structural Component Inspection.
• Comfortable working in demanding industrial environments.
• Ability to perform advanced NDT examinations on welds, piping, structural components, and heavy fabricated assemblies.

Qualifications

• PAUT Level II or Level III certification.
• Proven experience as an Advanced NDT – PAUT Technician.
