Experienced Part-Time Retail Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for an experienced part-time retail merchandiser to service Reader/Sunglass Racks at multiple retail locations on an ongoing basis. This is a temporary position (approximately 6 weeks) with the possibility of keeping some locations permanently. You will work as a 1099 contractor with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Meet store management
• Follow inventory control procedures
• Perform light cleaning/dusting of displays
• Place orders for product replenishment
• Answer questions and take photos using our app
• Perform occasional resets of product displays

Locations & Schedule

You will service the following stores on a recurring basis:

• 2 Kaiser Pharmacies
• 3 Staples
• 1 Wegman’s
• 1 Harris Teeter

Locations are in Colesville, Hyattsville, Lanham, and Laurel. Service frequency is weekly, bi-weekly, or every 4 weeks, with a flexible multi-day window each week.

Requirements

• Smartphone (required to use our app for work entries)
• Reliable transportation to travel between locations
• Ability to follow a simple planogram for product display

Pay

Compensation is structured as follows:

• Flat rate per location: $20 for each Staples, $30 for Wegman’s, and $25 for all other locations
• $15 per hour after the first 90 minutes of work

Payment is made via automatic deposit.
