Experienced Part-Time Retail Merchandiser

About the Role

We are looking for a merchandiser to join our team and service Reader/Sunglass Racks. This is a part-time job that would work great with other work as an add-on job.

Responsibilities

• Meeting the store management
• Inventory control procedures
• Light cleaning/dusting
• Placing orders
• Answering questions and taking photos on an app
• Occasional resets

Location & Schedule

• This position is for a Kaiser Pharmacy, a Rodman's, and 2 Harris Teeter's located in Kensington, Olney, and Potomac
• Locations are to be serviced either weekly, once every 2 weeks, or once every 6 weeks, all on an ongoing basis
• They are on a flexible schedule with a multiple day/week window to service the location

Requirements

• Smart phones are required (we have an app which allows you to complete all work entries while at the store and nothing more to do once you leave the location)
• Transportation is necessary to travel to each location

Additional Information

• The product lines are reading glasses and sunglasses with a simple to follow planogram
• All products are very lightweight and come in a distinctive green and white box
• This will be a temporary position, approximately 6 weeks, with the possibility of keeping some of the locations permanently
• We hire as a 1099 contractor
• We offer automatic deposit

Pay

• This job pays a flat rate of $25 for all locations
• Pay is $15 an hour after the first 90 minutes
