Experienced Paralegal Pi/Medmal

Responsibilities

• Evaluate nursing home injury and medical malpractice claims
• Conduct client interviews
• Maintain frequent communication with clients
• Acquire and organize medical records
• Compile demand packages
• Draft legal documents, including summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery, and expert witness exchanges
• Manage calendar for case deadlines and meetings

Qualifications

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Tech-savvy, comfortable with consultations, electronic filing, and Docu-Sign
• Meticulous follow-up for potential and existing clients
• Experience handling medical malpractice or nursing home neglect matters from intake to trial preparation
• Proficiency in electronic filing
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Previous management experience is highly desirable
• Adept in negotiation techniques
• Ability to drive the firm to higher levels of success
