Experienced Medical Biller for Pediatric Impact

Responsibilities
- Submit and analyze insurance claims (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Own A/R follow-up and resolve denials/underpayments using CARC codes and payer guidelines
- Post payments, process statements, and serve as the calm, clear voice patients turn to with billing questions
- Stay sharp on coding updates and flag changes to providers and leadership
- Dig into payer portals to chase down policy details and resolve sticking points
Requirements
- 4+ years of recent medical billing experience for physician services
- Strong grasp of CARC codes, denial management, and payment posting
- Comfortable in EHR/practice management systems
- Sharp attention to detail and a self-starter mentality
Bonus points: pediatric/primary care billing experience, NCCI edit familiarity, or AAPC/CPC certification.
