Experienced Maintenance Technician
Position Details
At IMT, our Service Technician (Maintenance Technician) are more than maintenance professionals — they’re key contributors to the community experience. In this role, you’ll help maintain a beautiful, welcoming environment while building meaningful connections with residents through outstanding service and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of maintenance issues in apartment homes, common areas, and community grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and pool systems
- Help maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of the community to create a first-class resident experience
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents efficiently and to IMT’s high-quality standards
- Utilize a company-provided tool set to complete daily responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Service Manager and Community Manager on special projects and community needs
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency maintenance requests
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance experience in residential property management, hospitality, or a related field
- Strong hands-on skills across multiple maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a resident-first mindset
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred (CPO certification is a plus)
- Comfortable using technology platforms such as Outlook and SuiteSpot
- Valid driver’s license required
