About the role
Install, maintain, rebuild and repair mechanical and electrical locking devices and door hardware. This includes automotive, residential and commercial. Senior locksmiths enjoy solving complex problems (lockpicking, installation, repairing, safe-cracking, etc) with technical skills and innovative technology. Support junior locksmiths.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, rebuild and repair mechanical and electrical locking devices and door hardware.
- Solve complex problems related to lockpicking, installation, repairing, safe-cracking, etc.
- Support junior locksmiths.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Highly motivated to succeed and able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Previous experience as a locksmith and confidence in working alone.
- Trainable and enjoys learning new skills and new technologies.
- Above-average technical/mechanical skills with a knack for problem-solving.
- Trustworthy and reliable with strong customer communication skills.
- Patient and known for high attention to detail.
- No issues with a background check appropriate to the nature of the job.
- Great customer relationship skills.
- A team player who can work with a variety of team members.

Pay
Earn between $45,000 and $75,000 based on performance commissions. Nominally $22-$27/hr (all-in with base pay, commissions, and tips).
