Experienced Live-In Caregiver - Full Time - Parkinson's Support - Fairfield, CT

Position Overview

A live-in caregiver is needed for a full-time, 7-day position supporting an adult client with Parkinson’s disease and dementia in Fairfield, CT. The ideal candidate should be experienced, patient, and able to provide hands-on care and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mobility support and fall prevention
• Hands-on assistance with transfers
• Showering, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general tidying)
• Occasional transportation to appointments or errands (must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle)

Requirements

• Experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA
• Comfortable working independently with occasional communication with the office team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (for transportation duties)

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Patience and understanding of the physical challenges associated with Parkinson’s disease
• Ability to maintain a calm and supportive demeanor
