Experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

About the role

The staff RN is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process, therapeutic environments, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care for assigned patients.
• Identify and address biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs and problems of assigned patients.
• Awareness of the status of assigned patients and collection of appropriate data for documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current CA Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days of employment.
