Experienced Irrigation Technician (Columbus West) -- Driver's License required

This is not an entry-level role — a minimum of 1 year of verified experience as a Landscape Irrigation Technician is required, and applicants must provide previous employer contact information for experience verification.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $19 – $25 per hour based upon previous relevant work experience and any certifications/licenses you hold.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Chauffeur's License or Endorsement (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience specifically as a Landscape Irrigation Technician (Required)
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred) — if not currently held, candidates must be able to pass a DOT-compliant medical exam and drug screening as required by federal law

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of the irrigation system
• Conduct and record detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems
• Valid driver's license
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing

Preferred (not mandatory):

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends
