Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment
- Travel to jobsites as needed to perform equipment repairs
- Examine machines and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality issues
- Complete 101 inspections, work orders, and maintenance records
- Monitor inventory and order parts as necessary
- Preform DOT annual inspections in accordance with FMSCA guidelines
- Works well with others in a team environment
- Welding and fabrication
- Preform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years prior mechanic experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Certified Class “A” CDL License
- Certified to use computer aided diagnostic software
