Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of company supervisor
- Perform visual inspection of predefined construction areas
- Read and interpret utility maps
- Use special electronic equipment to locate and protect underground utilities
- Locate and protect utilities such as gas, electric, water, cable, sewer, and more
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass pre-employment screenings: Drug test, background check, and driving record
- Successfully complete company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests
- Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations
- Apply safety measures relating to motor vehicle operation and other field-related matters

Working Conditions and Hours
- Outdoor work environment with up to 10-12 miles of walking on different terrains
- Driving company vehicle to and from work sites
- M-F schedule: 7:30am-4pm

- Starting wage from $21/hour and more with experience
- M-F schedule: 7:30am-4pm

Qualifications
