Experienced FT Fire Life & Safety Director (FLSD) - Manhattan, NY - $21.00-$27.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Fire Life & Safety Director, ensuring compliance with all FDNY codes and regulations
• Respond immediately to fire alarms, emergencies, and life safety incidents, coordinating response efforts as required
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Communicate clearly with the Operations Desk, property management, and leadership regarding incidents or deficiencies
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, alertness, and situational awareness at all times

Requirements

• Valid NYS Fire Life & Safety Director Certification (F-89 or equivalent)
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Minimum 2-3 years of fire life safety or building security experience
• Strong emergency response, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
