Experienced Forklift Operators

About the role

Reporting to the production supervisor, the production forklift driver will be responsible for assisting in daily production needs, including general labor activities.

Responsibilities

• Recognize safety hazards
• Learn and apply computer skills
• Operate forklifts (prior experience required)
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Complete required daily paperwork with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Routinely lift up to 55 pounds
• Learn quickly and adapt to changes in production plans
• Apply basic math skills
• Follow safe forklift driving rules and regulations
• Work in changing indoor/outdoor environments (hot/cold, noisy, dusty)
• Navigate tight spaces with forklifts
• Work weekends as needed and up to 12-hour shifts
• Assist in other departments and tasks as required
• Follow all Food Safety & Sanitation rules

Requirements

• Forklift experience (license not required)
• Ability to twist, turn, and stand for prolonged periods
• Willingness to work from heights while wearing a safety harness
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Routinely lift and stack 55± pound bags and boxes
• Follow instructions accurately
