About the role
Qualified Candidates: Nurse practitioner or physician assistant
3+ years emergency medicine APP practice experience preferred
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an advanced practice provider in Virginia
- Completion of an approved advanced practice provider program
- Experience in emergency medicine
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
