Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Planner. This role involves planning and leading processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, and work instructions to define and document the as-built configuration. The position supports the technical statement of work in a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead department processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations.
  • Develop and plan manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports.
  • Lead the integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  • Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs and manage tooling from design to disposition.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of manufacturing-related issues.
  • Lead teams in performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
  • Develop work statements and sequence events to support delivery commitments.
  • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Review and implement non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
  • Translate design requirements from Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing planning experience with electrical systems.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with GOLD and Word is required.

Work Environment

  • This position is 100% onsite. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense prior to the start date.
  • The role requires working in a factory environment and the ability to walk and navigate steps and scaffolding.
  • The standard shift is 2nd shift, operating on a 4x10 schedule, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
