Our newly renovated ICU is equipped with advanced technology, including: Wireless EKG monitoringHiFlow oxygen therapySnyder oxygen cagesMechanical ventilationPortable ultrasoundDefibrillatorIn-house blood donor program You'll work with critically ill and emergent patients while utilizing advanced nursing skills such as advanced patient assessment, transfusion therapies, ventilator monitoring, placement and care of NG tubes and central lines, and much more. What You'll Do Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and emergency patients using advanced technical skillsMonitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status in a fast-paced ECC environmentAssist with emergency procedures, anesthesia, and recovery of complex casesDeliver compassionate support and clear communication to clientsMaintain accurate and detailed medical recordsCollaborate with specialists, emergency doctors, and fellow technicians to provide the highest level of patient careMentor and support team members while contributing to a positive hospital culture What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of Emergency & Critical Care veterinary technician experience requiredVeterinary Technician certification preferredStrong critical thinking and patient assessment skillsAbility to remain calm, organized, and efficient in a fast-paced emergency settingExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCommitment to providing exceptional patient and client careAbility to lift and handle pets weighing 40+ pounds and remain active throughout your shift Schedule This position is specifically for 2nd shift, providing critical patient care during some of the hospital's busiest hours. As part of our 24/7 emergency and specialty care team, candidates should be available to work a weekend shift each week as well as rotating holidays.
