Experienced Drain Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing drainage systems in commercial and residential settings. Duties include inspecting pipes, unclogging drains, and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair drainage systems in both commercial and residential settings
• Unclog drains using various methods including chemical treatments and mechanical tools
• Perform preventative maintenance to prevent future clogs and system failures
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all local regulations and codes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in plumbing or related field
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing systems and materials
• Experience with common plumbing tools and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
