Experienced Detailer | Flat-Rate - Gresham Subaru

About the role

Gresham Subaru, the top-rated Subaru dealer in the Portland Metro, is seeking an Experienced Detailer to join our busy Service Team. This role is key to maintaining the pristine image of our dealership, handling everything from polishing and waxing to applying clear mask and ceramic coatings.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete interior and exterior detailing of new and pre-owned Subaru vehicles
• Prepare vehicles for delivery, showroom display, and customer pickup
• Wash, vacuum, shampoo, wax, polish, and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Perform paint correction and buffing as needed to dealership standards
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report concerns prior to detailing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized detailing area
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
• Work closely with service and sales departments to meet vehicle readiness deadlines

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
• Experience detailing new and pre-owned vehicles in a dealership or high-volume environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of interior and exterior detailing techniques
• Experience with paint correction, polishing, and machine buffers
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be 18 years or older, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Pay

$20 per hour flat rate; top performers make $75,000 annually and more.
