Experienced Dealer, Table Games (Caesars New Orleans)

Responsibilities

  • Deals assigned table games in accordance with company policies, gaming regulations, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of guest service.
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the casino floor through exceptional service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Successfully complete a basic math test and pass a Caesars audition demonstrating adequate gaming skills.
  • Deal a minimum of one major game and have one year of previous dealing experience.
  • Excellent employee and guest service skills.
  • Positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
  • Well-groomed appearance.

Additional Requirements

  • Able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around assigned Pit area during entire shift.
  • Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary.
  • Able to stand for 2-3 hour increments.
  • Able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’ demands in a fast pace environment.
  • Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.
  • Able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
  • Able to accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Able to possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money.
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
