Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and program excellence.
- Lead day-to-day operations of New Jersey DDD community-based programs.
- Maintain full compliance with all New Jersey DDD, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee audits of client records, service documentation, and operational processes.
- Ensure timely completion of assessments, service plans, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Lead incident management, corrective action planning, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Coordinators, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and administrative staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and person-centered culture built on accountability and excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations, staff development planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide leadership that inspires professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and community partners.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to strengthen support services.
- Ensure concerns are addressed promptly while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Manage program budgets, staffing resources, and operational performance.
- Prepare reports for executive leadership and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize NJ DDD iRecord and electronic documentation systems efficiently.
- Support strategic planning, program development, and future organizational growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or Healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey DDD regulations, Medicaid waiver services, and community-based programs.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex service programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience using NJ DDD iRecord and electronic health documentation systems.
- Background in program development, budgeting, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of person-centered planning, positive behavior supports, and support coordination.
