Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and program excellence.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of New Jersey DDD community-based programs.
  • Maintain full compliance with all New Jersey DDD, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee audits of client records, service documentation, and operational processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of assessments, service plans, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Lead incident management, corrective action planning, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Coordinators, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and person-centered culture built on accountability and excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, staff development planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership that inspires professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to strengthen support services.
  • Ensure concerns are addressed promptly while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Manage program budgets, staffing resources, and operational performance.
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership and regulatory agencies.
  • Utilize NJ DDD iRecord and electronic documentation systems efficiently.
  • Support strategic planning, program development, and future organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or Healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of New Jersey DDD regulations, Medicaid waiver services, and community-based programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex service programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience using NJ DDD iRecord and electronic health documentation systems.
  • Background in program development, budgeting, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning, positive behavior supports, and support coordination.
