Experienced Collision Estimator

Duties

• Conducting thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify necessary structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs.
• Preparing detailed and accurate work orders using estimating software, including costs for parts, labor, and materials.
• Communicating with insurance adjusters to review estimates, secure approvals, and manage supplemental claims when additional damage is discovered.
• Explaining repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers while providing regular updates on the status of their vehicles.
• Identifying required OEM or aftermarket parts and coordinating with the parts department to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborating with the shop manager and technicians to ensure the repair plan is followed and that the final output meets safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in collision repair or related field.
• Proficiency in using estimating software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
