EXPERIENCED CNC MACHINIST WITH $10,000 BONUS TO START

About the Role

(CNC) Machinists operate various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc. Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct. The machinists perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work piece are in accordance with drawing specifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Ability to understand written instructions
• Strong math skills
• Ability to work in a construction environment involving extreme heights, confined spaces, physical labor, and various weather conditions within a shipyard environment

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Understanding of written instructions

Nice to Have:

• Prior mechanical experience such as automotive repair, plant maintenance, machinery installation/repair
• Successful completion of a technical/vocational program in Machining, Diesel Technology, Automotive, HVAC, or Mechanical

Pay

Salary range: $74,297.60 to $85,196.80. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.

Sign-on bonus: $5,000 (subject to state and federal taxes upon start date).

Relocation bonus: $5,000 (grossed up) on your start date.

Upon acceptance of the offer, if employment ends due to resignation or termination for violation of any NNS’ Yard Regulation before completing 12 consecutive months, you must reimburse the company the full amount of any sign-on bonus received, including withheld taxes. Repayment is due immediately and may be deducted from your final paycheck or other monies owed.
