Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is seeking part-time caregivers to join their team. The ideal candidate is kind, compassionate, and dedicated, with a passion for caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Absist with medication reminders
• Ambulate clients
• Monitor blood pressure and glucose levels

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand care plans and assessments
• Certified TB test

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Schedule

This position is available to start on July 27. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The client uses a Hoyer lift, so experience with safe transfers is preferred.
