About the role

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is seeking a part-time caregiver for a client in Silver Spring, MD 20903. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The client is bedridden and requires care for a catheter and hospice needs. Immediate start is available!

Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to understand care plans and assessments
• Certified negative TB test

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Ambulate the client
• Monitor Blood Pressure (BP) and Glucose levels
