Experienced CNA in Ellicott City

About the role

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs for a part-time position in Ellicott City. The shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, starting September 10. Pay is $22/hour.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Assist with ambulation
• Monitor BP and glucose levels

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience as a CNA
• Experience using a stand lift
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand care plans and assessments
• Current doctor's medical health clearance to work, including a negative TB Test
