Role Overview: Own and optimize CMP processes in development and high-volume manufacturing to enhance yield, reduce costs, and ensure process stability and portability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to improve product performance, reliability, and speed to market. Key Responsibilities Develop, start up, and sustain CMP processes for yield, cost, and reliability improvements.Troubleshoot manufacturing issues using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and FDC methods.Drive yield enhancement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation initiatives.Qualify and deploy new process baselines, tools, and materials for NPI and site transfers.Evaluate equipment, materials, and supplier performance to optimize outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.10+ years of CMP industry experience, including dielectric and metal CMP, slurry-pad interactions.Hands-on experience with CMP tools and endpoint systems.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills Knowledge of semiconductor physics and DRAM function.Understanding of CMP mechanisms, failure modes, and chemical interactions.Experience with SPC, FDC, RMS, or APC systems.Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and coding for operational efficiency.
