About the role
Responsible for providing intervention services to children in a therapeutic setting. Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children in need of intervention.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support child development and behavior.
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes, and communicate regularly with families and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of child development and behavior modification techniques.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the RBT certification exam.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
