Experienced Child Interventionist/RBT- Part Time/ After School Hours

About the role

Responsible for providing intervention services to children in a therapeutic setting. Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children in need of intervention.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support child development and behavior.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes, and communicate regularly with families and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the children.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of child development and behavior modification techniques.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the RBT certification exam.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
