Experienced Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Caregivers to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. You will support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities, and bring clients into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals. ExpertCare serves Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan.

Full and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to Recipients in their homes
• Assist with skill-building activities
• Encourage and support personal goal growth outside the home environment
• Follow care plans and work independently

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
