Experienced Body Shop Technician (Gurley Leep Honda)

About the role

Gurley Leep is a family-owned automotive group with 3 CARSTAR Collision Centers located in Elkhart, Mishawaka, and South Bend. We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our growing collision repair team. This position requires knowledge of both structural and non-structural body repair, automotive systems, sheet metal repair, and welded panel replacement. We welcome professionals who take pride in their work, are capable of producing high-quality repairs, and want to work in a professional, well-equipped shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality structural and non-structural collision repairs.
• Repair and replace damaged body panels.
• Complete repairs according to OEM procedures and company standards.
• Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship.
• Work closely with estimators and the production team to ensure repairs are completed on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience as an Auto Body Technician.
• Ability to perform repairs independently from start to finish.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• I-CAR certifications are a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
