Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized ABA techniques created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Support and guide parents/caregivers in implementing the behavior plan tactics when the BT/BCBA is not in the home.
- Collect and analyze data focused on skills and behaviors, conduct discrete trials daily to monitor progress and meet objectives.
- Communicate concerns, progress, and feedback to both the client's family and supervisor in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Average minimum of 10-19 hours per week availability.
- Age 18 or older with reliable, consistent transportation.
- Pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- 6+ months of experience in a Behavioral Therapist or similar position.
- Able to make a 6-month commitment to our clients.
- Bilingual (Creole speaking) to support language needs.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children/adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- CPR certified (with a 2-week timeline after hire to obtain).
