Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently perform testing, service, maintenance, and repairs of backflow devices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective action/repairs.
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with standards and local codes.
- Show strong technical aptitude with the ability to use multiple platforms and applications for reporting, documentation, and data management.
- Show highly detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to diverse situations, evolving challenges, and changing business needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
- Travel to job sites as required.
Education/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in backflow testing and repair.
- Strong understanding of backflow and service and repairs.
- Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
