Experienced Automotive Technician – General Service Center

About the role

The General Service Center of Laurel, powered by Easterns Automotive Group, is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join their high-volume Service Center team in Laurel.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and top-off fluids
• Conduct brake, tire, and safety inspections; document results using electronic/video MPI systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform both minor and major repairs
• Road-test vehicles to confirm service quality and verify repairs
• Replace components such as brakes, batteries, belts, lights, and other wear items
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately and legibly
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Prior automotive technician experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Pay

Salary Range: $25.00 to $45.00 hourly

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
