Experienced Automotive Technician - $6000 Bonus

About the role

Carvana is seeking experienced automotive mechanics with at least 3 years of professional repair experience to work in its high‑tech Inspection Centers, performing a full range of repairs on all makes and models, including light maintenance, heavy engine work, electrical diagnostics (electric/hybrid), wheel bearings/axles, and climate‑control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems (ACs and heater cores).

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment and tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Pay

$20.00 – $31.00 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5× the regular rate.

Schedule

Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to meet delivery commitments.
