Responsibilities
- Perform repair-order work efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and related systems
- Use modern diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer repair information
- Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with Service Advisors
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements
- Maintain required manufacturer training
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace
- Follow dealership and manufacturer repair processes
- Treat every customer's vehicle with care
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting ability
- GM experience required
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
